NEW DIRECTORS CELEBRATE!
The New Directors Convention is being held this weekend in Pleasanton.
Lots of pictures coming back on FB and Twitter. I remember — like it was yesterday — our first trip to San Fran for what was then called, The New Supervisors Convention. When those two free airline tickets showed up for Glenda and me, we just couldn’t believe it. When we got there and saw all those New Supervisors, we were pumped. It’s a rush!
I actually had a chance to meet Dr. Shaklee, and of course, lots of very excited people who became great friends over the years.
The same thing is happening right now. Friendships are being forged that will last a lifetime, and the way these New Directors “see” Shaklee will never be the same again.
I have had the good fortune of speaking at several Shaklee International Leadership Conventions, in countries around the world, and it’s always a thrill, and a great honor, to address your peers, but I can honestly say the most exciting and memorable speaking opportunities came at New Supervisor Conventions … just like the New Director Convention going on now in Pleasanton.
The energy flowing from all those New Directors who are just beginning their Shaklee career is something no other venue can offer. It’s electric. It’s fun. It’s an experience you never forget … nor would you want to.
If you’ve been there … done that … you know what I’m saying. If not, and you’re just getting started on your Shaklee journey, do whatever it takes to get to this special event.

The obesity epidemic may be slowing, but don’t take in those pants yet.
Today, just over a third of U.S. adults are obese. By 2030, 42 percent will be, says a forecast released Monday. That’s not nearly as many as experts had predicted before the once-rapid rises in obesity rates began leveling off. But the new forecast suggests even small continuing increases will add up.

The next New Directors Conference is in October 2011 and you need to finish your 6 consecutive month qualification by the end of August 2011 to make it! Early indicators are that we may have three times the number of people who attended this New Directors Conference – more than 100 teams have already qualified for October. We look forward to hosting our next group of up and coming new Directors – will you be there?

Last month, my parents – Senior Directors, Ralph and Linda Knapp, received a phone call from Roger Barnett, telling them… they qualified for their car payment!
Linda said… “This is coming at a perfect time, as we were looking at $2,000 worth of work on our older vehicle.”
Ralph and Linda are Senior Directors above Josh and Kate Virkler and they are a also a great example of how you can earn a car payment by becoming a director and finding just one other person to build a business in Shaklee!
They are #2 in our group to earn the car … going for 10 Shaklee cars in the group!
